Love love love this! The colors are lively and enthralling, making it almost impossible to stop looking at the picture. I also like how you included the parasol, making a blend of modern day scene and past tradition.
The fact that everything in the background was blurred out helped a lot in making the photo focused and actually helped not to seem too busy.
That's another thing, despite all of the colors included in the shot, you some how made it look lively but not too overwhelming!
The make up was an interesting touch, and definitely screams hyper. Also, the people in the shot appeared as what some people would refer to as Kandy Kids, also reinforcing the term "hyper".
Over all it is a job very well done!

Oshare Kei - Hyper Japan
This shot is bursting with vibrant colours and if I could taste them my mouth would struggle to keep up with the flavours the hooded tops and t-shirts are a wash with them.
With the bow in the hair to mimic the manga style cartoon t-shirt image and the parasol also adding to the Japanese feel. This image shouts out Hyper Hyper Hyper Japan.
If it wasn't for the parasol I don't think this image would work quite as well.
I didn't catch the name straight away and my first thoughts were Japanese holiday snap.
In a nut shell I think you nailed it.
