Thank you D!.. It has been and always will be a favourite of mine. This was my second time at trying to capture a 'human' as I usually do cats or horses or dogs.......so it was a challenge and rewarding to have it turn out the way it did. The only thing I was not impressed with was the black hair line next to her eye. It had been in the original photo and if I had paid enough attention before painting it, I would not have included it. Oh well, live and learn...

Thank you! I think most of the beauty came from within the subject.. She had such intriqueing eyes that really drew you in. I just HAD to try and capture them!

You are soooo good at drawing eyes! These are great! What did you use to do the lashes? Must've been a really fine brush, they're so precise! I love how you can see each individual eyelash and eyebrow hair. I really thought this was a photo from the thumbnail!

Thank you kindly again!.. I have an angle shader brush that I use for any fine lines that I need to do. Practicing has helped so that the brush will smoothly create curves without widening my strokes....
