An update on the changes I'm making to the Excalibur. The top left image shows the overall model. The model is now 310 m wide. Drawing on the Excalibur started before I knew how to do components in Sketchup (in fact, I was told about components while drawing the Excalibur's turrets) so the original model was one piece. When I started the detailing work I chopped the model in half lengthwise and made one half into a component and did the whole copy/paste/flip thing to make the detailing work easier. Somehow during this process a 1 millimeter discrepancy developed in the width of the model (and in every image I posted since the model was a mm too thin) and I had been unable to fix the issue until now.

The Ancient energy weapon now has a 200 m long barrel section, which is hard to see in the images I admit. I added a glow effect for when the AEW is charging up. The barrel section is also indented some. I also added a 10 m long barrel section to the Asgard pulse weapons. While I removed the central Asgard pulse weapon, I'll probably put it back in at some point (or just add a few more).

The large Drone launch doors have been removed, new Drone launch bays will be added in the next update.

The bottom right image shows an idea I have for changing the bow wings, while I like the slope mounted Asgard beam turrets, it's too much of a pain in the rear to mount weapon turrets on sloped surfaces so the way this is drawn, I'd have to get rid of them. Also the turrets are 5 m wide, which might be a little too big for their purpose. The flat surface the turret in the image is mounted on is 5 m across (same as the flat area the stuff is mounted on the prongs).
