Description Super epic costume group from JordanCon 2011 (super epic because this one includes Min). In this group we see two Maidens of the Spear (Paige Gardner Smith and Katherine Reid), two Asha'men (David Reynolds-Gier and Kelcey Casson), myself as Lanfear, Paul Bielaczyc (~kalessaradan of Aradani Studios) as Rand, Missy Gathright Lindsey as Min and James Atkins as Mat Cauthon. Not present at the moment this was taken was John Strangeway, who portrayed our Perrin (he was probably hiding from Berelain, or else rescuing Faile from the Shaido).

* Photo taken by the Ta'veren Tees gang (I believe it was Kiley Kellermeyer, but it could have been Sophie Decaudin. Either way - great shot!) If you'd like to wear a piece of the pattern, check them out at: [link]

Haha, it's funny cause your description says there are only two Aiel in this picture...

I think what you meant to say is that only two are willing to be seen

Thanks! That's a big compliment. I'm never sure if we are really cosplayers or not, you know? We just like to do costumes and act the part when we're wearing them. Anyway...

Just went over and scoped out your Wheel of Time art. I had already seen Juilin Sandar the other day and liked it a lot, but I had missed the Mat Cauthon one, and the cool trolloc. You've got a lot of cool stuff.

You're welcome and thank you.

You've inspired me to do a Matt/Juilin in the Stone of Tear piece, keep your eyes peeled.

t minus whenever I can get a half an hour to finish the sketch and then scan it and clean it...so more like whenever I can get an hour+

Ah, my kingdom for an hour+ to spend on drawing WOT fanart.

Well, it's happening again on April 20-22nd this year, and next year on April 19-21, 2013. All us costumers are feverishly at work on our new costumes right now, as we only have a few more weeks. So we're kind of at that point of, "I Can't WAIT! and, "OMG! How am I going to get all this done in time?" lol

Hehe. Well, we have a lot of folks come from all over the place: Australia, Europe, Canada, Africa. Keep it in mind; you'd be among friends regardless!

Thank you very much! The Wheel of Time costumers who come to JordanCon really know how to go all out! You should see the Green Man we had the last two years. I think there are some good photos of him on the JordanCon Facebook group.

Thanks, both of you! I'll pass your praise onto the rest of the group. If you'd like to see more of the photos (and lots of other cool costumes), there are more in the JordanCon Facebook group. It should be open to the public to view. I believe this is the correct URL: [link]
