Over the millennia, Makuta Gladax has developed an affinity for creating aquatic Rahi. This is one of his more recent creations. Shell Crabs are bottom-feeding crustaceans that live off of algae as well as smaller crabs. They travel in groups and are harmless to land-dwelling creatures. They are surprisingly durable and they can resist the effects of viruses and mutagens, although prolonged exposure can still mutate them.

Shell Crabs come in two variants, but the difference is purely cosmetic and has no bearing on their abilities or behavior. The black ones are slightly more common.
