an idea i had after watching the violent nature of Rayquaza on Destiny Deoxys and the...words "All living things, kneel before ur master!" and it occured to me...he said ALL LIVING THINGS....and last i checked...Rayquaza is a living thing(fictional of course)Metal Overlord (c) SEGA

If Metal Overlord and Rayquaza had a battle, I picture it like this:

Metal Sonic (in Metal Overlord form, MO for short) sees a flying green serpent in the sky and pursues the green serpent, who turns out to be the legendary Rayquaza, ruler of the skies. MO fires a spike at Rayquaza, but it dodges it sensing it exactly 5 seconds before the spike strikes its body. Angered that someone would foolisly challenge a being with powers unmatched, Rayquaza lets out a ferociously loud roar, basicly saying, "HOW DARE YOU ATTACK ME! I WILL ENJOY TEARING YOU TO PIECES!!!". As MO fires his attacks, Rayquaza either destroys, reflects, counters, or dodges the assults with little trouble at all. MO was shocked that something organic was making him look like a ant compaired to a whale in power. Rayquaza then fires a super-charged Hyper Beam that destroys Metal Sonic down to the molecular level.

When I picture Rayquaza, I, strangely, depict it as a female (don't ask please), with unbelieveable strength and power that she can destroy a planet with ease, and lay waste to any foe or army she faces.

yes well you forget to mention that Metal Overlord has all the powers of chaos as well as Shadow Sonic and them. and I'm sure Shadow and Sonic could beat Rayquaza.

Not to shoot down your opinion, but Rayquaza would make Dark Oak (from Sonic X) or Perfect Chaos look like chumps. It would take a lot more than teamwork OR the Chaos Emeralds to even stand a chance against the Sky-High Pokemon. Rayquaza is not only powerful in strength alone, but it's also unbelieveably fast if in uses Extremespeed.

.....Rayquaza is the weakest of the Hoenn Legendaries. you didnt know that? One hit from Blizzard Icebeam or Dragon Claw and its down.

Yeah, Rayquaza's defense stats are really low, but its attack, special attack, and speed stats more than make-up for it. In my Pokemon White game, I have a Lv. 94 Rayquaza and these are it stats exactly:
HP:334
Attack:361
Defense:192
Special Attack:336
Special Defense:202
Speed:185
...And these are the point ranges of a Rayquaza at Lv 100:
HP:320 - 414
Attack:274 - 438
Defense:166 - 306
Special Attack:274 - 438
Special Defense:166 - 306
Speed:175 - 317
Plus, I don't think Sonic or Shadow can use any attacks that can seriously injure Rayquaza, in Pokemon terms, Rayquaza is made to fight and try to defeat any foe it faces, as it can learn a wide range of attacks, even moves its weak against. I think if Shadow & Sonic team up, they can give Rayquaza a good fight. I'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything...

Yes but what you fail to understand is Metal Overlord, while not only bigger, is faster(Sonic and Shadow's speed), stronger(Knuckles strength), Smarter(Tails' intellect), and can shapeshift to dodge attacks at will(Chaos). The clear winner is Metal Overlord.

I well understand what Metal Overlord is capable of, I fought and beat the guy, on my first try none-of-the-less. I've also seen what Rayquaza is capable of in the anime and games. Through my observations carefully, Rayquaza and Metal Overlord are pretty equal in power, but it seems, in my perspective, that Rayquaza is more powerful by the simplist of advantages, fighting experience. MO was around for a couple of minutes or more than an hour, while Rayquaza has been around for thousands and thousands of years.
You're clearly a Sonic fan, why don't you check my bases? I've made a few, and I'm about to submit a new one...

Look. the game fucked with MO ok? the game didnt show his true potential because SONIC HEROES SUCKS. Metal Overlord would easily KILL Rayquaza and I'm NOT just saying that because I'm a Sonic fan. did you watch the deathmatch between Wiley and Eggman on youtube? those are legit. Metal Overlord took on an entire army and did not fall. Not to mention all he would need to do is copy Rayquaza's data and boom, use all his Dragon type attacks against him. game. over.

No...I've never heard of it, mind sending me a link. Here's a link to a website ([link] ) that will tell you all about Rayquaza and why I think it would make a good opponent for Metal Sonic. I believe that Metal Overlord can copy the skills of his opponents, but not exactly the same strength, 'cause you know the old saying "You just can't beat the original."
Moving away from Rayquaza, here's a topic I would like for you to consider and give your opinion, If Metal Sonic can do what you say he can do, can he even come close to the power of the mightiest Pokemon, Arceus, considered to be a Pokemon that makes Mewtwo look like a wimp? To see what Arceus can do, just see the 12th Pokemon Movie; Arceus and the Jewel of Life.

well no of course not but who cares about Arceus. I dont. If all it takes in-game to beat Rayquaza is one Ice Beam and Rayquaza can LEARN Ice Beam, then MO can use it to beat him.

well unlike Metal, Rayquaza can suffer from exhaustion and fatigue...whereas Metal fights til he either blows up, falls apart, or shuts down...and seeing how much Rayquaza is already scarred and bruised...i'd say it better use REST XDDDD
