This page featuring the sorry state of some of the modern Sonic characters, particularly the past and present antagonists.We have:
Shadow, who is just Vegeta, except at least Vegeta is well-written. I went with the Saiyan Saga design for his armour because that was before his character development for that reason.
Gemerl, who went from about right but a little weak in New Archie to basically just Gamma in IDW, but laser-focused on Cream, something that's detrimental to both characters.
Neo Metal Sonic, who had his entire raison d'etre sacrificed on the altar on Ian's Eggman fanboyism. Name literally any time Eggman programmed an intelligent robot that's actually loyal to him outside of the comics and I'll consider this less of a plot hole.
Infinite, who is a fucking joke.
