Credit to: Sega- CastCream: "You know, I may enjoyed being playable in the 3DS channel of the Rio Olympics, but it's kinda nice being back to my old routes. At least I was invited to join unlike Sochi... I'm pretty sure my brother Charmy is having a good time taking my position for me. It's pretty peaceful doing a different job that people think it fits me for. I do miss being a main announcer, but I'm still at the party and I got to hang out with Tails. So, I think it's a win in my book."
So this is my 444th drawing! Where's the death? Well... It's the death of Cream's chances being playable in the Wii U? But it's the rebirth of being back as a partial announcer. Not as main as the past games, but a helper for the roulette. So something's better than nothing. ^^ If you wanna know how I know Cream is in the Wii U version, www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/abjj/i… scroll down to the very bottom and you'll see her there. Or it could just be a Mii in a full Cream costume to troll with us. But still she was in the 3DS as a playable so both versions are like a part 1 and 2. 3DS has Dream events, Wii U has Duel Events.

Took a careful look (very hard to do thanks to the constant moving <.< ) and yeah, I think that's the real deal. Doesn't look too much like a Mii to me. Of course, I could be wrong as per usual...
At least Cream isn't totally gone from the Wii U version but I still would've vastly preferred her to be playable. I thought this "Dark Age" for Cream was going to end to an extent with her being playable in both version of Mario and Sonic but now the only really good thing that will happen to Cream will be the Archie Comics FINALLY using her. But that's not enough to end this "Dark Age" if you ask me.
Of course, it's not like Cream being playable in the Wii U version will be any different from the 3DS version; being limited to only one dang event. And with that, I think I'll get the 3DS version of the game. After all, maybe if either and/or both versions of the game sells well enough, they'll have more characters in both versions of the future games and have them playable in all events (though we Cream fans gotta make sure to let our desire to have Cream playable in both versions of future games strong).

Yeah, the head looks smaller than the costume and I can barely see a muzzle. Like I said, we'll see soon enough.
Agreed... At least they didn't pull a Sochi.
DLC for the game would sound like an interesting idea. Cream being free with one event and the others being .99 for multiple events and characters.

Found a video that gives a much clearer view of Cream and can be paused (youtu.be/0H0-IgSkG9k?t=12s ). On closer inspection, well, it looks like Cream but it's hard to see her eyes (which shouldn't be possible given how large they are) and I've noticed that she's not moving at all 
Hm, yeah, here's hoping this game gets DLC. Maybe then I'll get the Wii U version (after Cream is confirmed first lol). Though I'm kind of doubtful since the 3DS version, to my knowledge, hasn't gotten any DLC despite the 3DS being capable of such.

I hope that it's the real Cream and not a cutout. If it is, then Cream got the Mighty treatment with him as a cardboard cutout in Gmod. .~. Hope it's not the case.
