Credit to Map and Model OwnersI still ship Toad x Toadette. I say they still have genders, but make babies differently.
I mean, come on. Look at those two! Aren't they adorable together. N-Not Orbot and Cubot. No thank you, they are robots. XD
Orbot apparently ships them like Fedex while Cubot is unsure from the whole "Genderless Toads" article.

Did you know in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door that Toadette was smitten with Mario? Β Then again, a lot of female characters in that game were or hinted to. Β But Toadette ran away in tears after she was done with her roles in the game!
