Rita Richards is a mother of two, a scientific genius, a world renowned superhero and the leader of the heroic group known as the Amazing family.

Appearance: Rita Richards is a caucasian raven haired woman with a healthy and athletic build. Having toned thighs and blue eyes, she wears a purple costume with dark grey gloves and patterns with an A in a light grey circle on the left side of her chest.

Personality: Rita is a generous and caring person. Using her intellect and scientific advancements to help her family, friends and her co workers. Rita is also pretty adaptable when either raising her kids or on the battlefields.

Abilities:
Elasticity: Thanks to an accident involving cosmic rays that genetically altered her DNA, Rita can now stretch any part of her anatomy to great lengths and is even more flexible to fit through tight spaces.
Malleability: Because of her elasticity, Rita can change her own shape and size at will.
Regeneration: If physically damaged, Rita is capable of healing her wounds.
Increased Intelligence: Mrs Amazing's intellect has not only made her achieve amazing scientific achievements, but it has also helped her in problem solving and having to handle her daily life outside of the hero buisness.
Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Aside from her elastic powers, Rita has also become stronger and faster after her genetic alteration.

Weaknesses: Pretty much like most elastic powered beings, Rita is powerless against extreme cold and being tangled in her own self.

Trivia:
-When I conceptualized Rita Richards, I was originally going to make her a villain, because I based her on both Professor Richard Impossible and Shelia aka Lady Au Pair aka Dr Girlfriend aka Dr. Mrs. The Monarch from the Venture Bros. This was changed however when I made her the canonical mother of Jennifer Richards aka Absorber.
-Rita Richards shares similarities to both Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic from Marvel Comics and Helen Parr aka Elastigirl from Pixar's the Incredibles. While Mrs Amazing wasn't based on these two, it wouldn't surprise me to see someone make those comparisons.
-Rita grew up in Oregon and then moved to New York when she graduated from a science college, married Athur Tennyson (aka Lord Tenthios/Dr 10) and had her children Jennifer (Absorber) and Jake (X Ray). However their marriage became too toxic for her to endure, which led to their divorce, making Rita return to Oregon with her son (This happened after John aka Furnace Guy broke up with Jenny), and while her daughter was with her abusive and maniacal dad, she did make frequent contacts with her mother, saying that she wants to be with Rita and Jake.
