Great movie eh? kind of like Cat People meets Beauty and the Beast and the typical slice of life story eh?
These are a great couple and proof love isn't just the same species/race. There's plenty of interspecies romance like Batman X Cheetah on Justice League (even doing a story of them in love here on DA as they even get married and have adorable cheetah mutant anthro cub kids), Roger and Jessica Rabbit, InuYasha/Kagome, Hepzibah/Corsair, Catherine/Vincent in Beauty and the Beast TV show with Ron Perlman/Linda Hamilton, Vastra/Jenny on Doctor Who, Regular Show which has Eillen/Rigby (a mole person and raccoon person) to margaret's human dad with lovely anthro humanoid bird woman mother, Eliza/Goliath on Gargoyles, Howard the Duck/Beverly Switzler, Lilandra/Professor Xavier, Hepzibah/Corsair in Marvel and so much more.

Yes, this is from the anime, 'Wolf Children.' Hana is the woman, and this is the moment after the nameless wolf man reveals that he is a descendent Honshuu wolf clan by transforming into this anthro wolf. He can also go fully feral into wolf form. She shows her acceptance of him and his appearance in the next scene, though this specific imagery wasn't in the anime. This is how I imagine her immediate reaction was since she loved him.

No i agree as long as it's consensual but for a family movie ? A bit too much imo, it's still semi-zoophilia... Beauty and the Beast are never shown having sex at least in the disney movie.

What makes those examples different even Roger and Jessica to Regular Show to Bojack Horseman like Charolette whom is an anthro humanoid deer woman married to a human man and both produced kids and Eliza and Goliath on Gargoyles than to Han and Wolf Man? semi-zoophilia cause it's like a feral regular animal creature than a all that?
In the TV show version of the Beauty and the Beast story with Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton, Vincent who is the title monster man was born that way to look like a lion man and even Catherine/Vincent had sex in one episode.
What do you think of if Minerva Mink from Animaniacs has an affair with a human man in a story series? at least they are consenting adults who are sapient mammal beings and can make their own decisions and romance if they want to.

Like I said, if it's consensual and destined to an older public i have no problem with interspecies love/sex, I even love it. But this anime (Wolf Children) was (primarily) destined to children and I found the sex scene quite... daring, call me old-fashioned haha
I've heard of them but actually never watched them, though Ghost in the Shell is in my watchlist^^

Well Gargoyles and Animaniacs are titles only kids of my generation (90s kids) know about and Gargoyles had a good example of interspecies romance of a human and a gargoyle.Β
