I'm getting a definite Stargate vibe off this piece. The whole "ring wormhole portal" thing is just the tip of that vibeberg. The portal doesn't look very practical for transportation of goods or people, but it is certainly grandiose and imposing. More like the kind of thing you make with a grand entrance in mind. And the person, tiny by comparison, having no idea what they're getting in to. If I had the chance, I'd step through the portal too.

As fascinating as the idea of otherworldly "visitors" may be - someone who can accomplish such a task and is immortal scares me more than fascinates. Especially since I thought about the Fallen-Angels-As-Aliens idea. You may have heard of that. Fallen angels are comprehensible (for me as a Christian) but evil reptile aliens about to unleash the souls of their drowned Nephilim offspring to... well, come through the portal and take over Earth. I dunno. I am being a scary ass right now
I have had a look through your gallery and it is amazing. I think I like the photos of nature and cities most. Especially Old Bridge Winter. I long for snow right now. It's just too warm...
