Description I spent a lot of time on this one, making the skies look real. And yeah, I'm pretty pleased of their realistic look.
The dragon went out fine as well, so *phew* to that.

After several dragon-attacks upon human villages in the valley of the great mountains, the humans agreed to arm themselves and go up to Dragon Rock, where it was believed that the dragons would linger.

Thanks. I put a high emphasis on doing the skies right. They create a unique atmosphere.

I can really tell. Great attention to detail.

The only issue I have is that it's TOO detailed. You'll have to make the lower part of the image as detailed to match it, as the sky steals all the attention. In one way this is good. It overwhelms the image, like a photo taken on the wrong setting, and makes the dragon second to notice (realism, and makes everything seem like rainy England).

But at the same time, a war is waging under the sky, and the army cowering behind rocks should be noticeable from a glance. The background is perhaps lacking some contrast.

Hmm, I see your point. If I did it the other way, doing more detail on the ground and less detail on the sky, I guess it would be slightly better.
Yeah, I think so too, and I've noted this down for myself like trillions of times. It really lacks some good ol' contrast. I could've added some yellow-ish colours, like withered grass or something. That would also add more colours to the ground.

Oh, well, well, now to get myself a cup of coffee.
