My only complaint is the red shadow on the girl... looks like she's bleeding or... something. :-/
Other than that, the picture's nearly perfect. Now you just need to do a giant foot. Or perhaps I shall. It would be interesting. I do love the really-big-something conspect, though, with the tiny person. I just doubt most people have the patience to do the detail for a tiny person... you did good.

reminds me of a old great game. Ultima 8 ( I think it were 8 ). just as you start the game a hand appears in the sky of the shore of an island with a mountain. the hand holds you for a while in its palm as a voice sounds 'You have been a thorn in my side for far to long Avatar. I hereby banish you to the world of Pagan. No one here knows of the Avatar' then with a laugh he drops you into the water.
the feeling in this picture is that exact feeling. you are really small and don't stand a chance.

And the way you add so much detail to the girl in contrast to the hand, just really makes me pay attention to the girl more.

I really love it... except... this is going to sound gross, but it looks like she's having her period... even tho her dress is still white.

I really like this. I agree the girl looks better in this one, but both were exquisite. My only advice is what my amazing art teacher used to tell every one of his students:
Push your darks! Contrast would really help bring out the big hand, and I don't think it would take away from the girl at all.

I used to draw little girls on giant hands when I was really young. Seriously 0__oll I had my own reasons

I like how the hand details are somehow lessened or fogged out to make them monolithic compared to the girl.

I think the closeup here is a much stronger piece than the original.
The cropping out of the full hand makes the space fill up more, and doesn't leave any "dead" space, like the original.
You can still tell it's a hand that she's on, and it also makes her more prominent and clear than in the original.
When I look at it I kind of see it as an image that's more about the girl than the hand, so I really think this one works more.

i think this version is more effective than the bigger version. i love the brush you used, it gives it great texture! keep up the great work
