When I joined traditori, a spooky jam-jar LJ roleplay with a murder theme, as Yuffie Kisaragi...

...this was the last thing I expected to happen.

And yet somehow these two pratfalling comic relief characters really found something in each other. I don't know if it was a simple affinity plus a good dash of teenaged lust, or a surprising friendship, or the beginnings of love--but it consisted largely of squabbling and tripping over each other, and it was adorable.

It ended sadly this week. Traditori is a horror/murder-themed RP, not a nurturing environment for romance, and as of last Thursday, Yuffie is alone again and grieving.

But I still wanted to draw something for them, and this is what resulted. Crazy? Yes. Crossover? Yes. Crack pairing? Oh, yes.

But I think it's going to have a soft spot in my heart for a long time.
