I think the composition is ok. It has perspective , and space...if you'd put something floating here and there like some stones or islands could look fine. And some characters or two. Simple ones.

I did all this a long while ago, they just piled up so now I'm just gathering resources for the next sketch dump as I work on other drawings. Escape work and all the time shall be yours or make your work at home for yourself (no pressure) and all the time shall be yours!

Thanks, it was just a one hour sketch I did for Astral to color for a colab. I had yours and Stephanie ornamental drawings in my head (I kinda miss her). Not much improvement but time reduced a lot. I am working on something in color right now and It won't take me more then 2 days because I think things trough a lot. Your Happy Birthday, sakura drawing took me almost 2 months, due to work back then.
