Eliade and Annabelle are orphaned sisters. They both possess magical abilities, but Eliade's don't appear to her until she turns 20, unlike Annabelle who has shown magic since she was 3 years of age.

Their parents were burned by Uther for sorcery. Only their father had magical abilities, but Uther charged their mother as well. This left the girls on their own. Since they pleaded that they knew nothing of magic and were not found guilty, they were allowed to live peaceably. Eliade began selling pastries in the market along with hemp jewelry. She is known around the kingdom as a kind girl with an angelic voice. Eliade would give her life to protect her sister and has often called her "My reason". She excels at healing people with natural remedies and knows everything there is to know about plants and the human body.
Although kind and generous, Eliade can come off cold hearted to those of royalty or those connected to the royal family. She hold a grudge against the knights of Camelot and Arthur for taking her parents away. She loaths Uther with every fiber of her being.
After much thought, she devised a plan to find out more about the knights and the royal family. She disguised herself as a knight and cut her long hair, making her look boy-ish. She was already skilled with a sword after being shown by her father and training at a young age. Eliade managed to forge a document to show royal birth and pass the test to join the knights. She referred to herself as Elson while a knight.
She kept the cuttings of her hair and managed to turn them into detachable pieces to wear when female. While with the knights, Eliade met Lancelot and quickly fell for him, although she denied it to herself.
She realized people were growing suspicious of her, so she quit knighthood by faking her own death. People suspected magic since all they found of the "body" were extremely charred bones which could not be identified. Eliade returned to normal life in the market, selling pies with her sister. But she never stopped practicing with a sword, knowing this knowledge would help her protect her sister if Uther ever found out about their magic.

Annabelle is a gentle young child who is almost always in high spirits. She knows of her sister's hatred of the royals and tries to calm her of it, but with no luck. Annabelle knows she must hide her magic, but finds it hard sometimes. She cares for her sister more than anything but really loves Merlin. Annabelle thinks of him as a brother, yet she doesn't care much for Arthur.
