Hey Todd do you have any tips with dynamic posing and how to come up with some out of your head?

how did you manage to combine microns and copics and NOT have your copics smear the crap out of the blacks??

ToddNauck In reply to cold-fused [2014-05-07 20:23:29 +0000 UTC]

Copics don't really smear multiliners. At least, it is quite rare! It's best to let the multiliner dry completely.

the only downfall (sry for double reply) is I didn't get a brush tip, or anything beyond a .3, so, thicker lines take time with these.

how long do *you* usually let the multiliners dry for?Β  They look dry when I use copics, but, EVERY time - I get the copic pulling the micron ink.Β  Same thing happens with my PH Martin Bombay India Ink.

Resorted to buying copic multiliners, and they're the only thing so far that haven't pulled the black ink.

10-15 min at least. But it sounds like you've found your fix. Copic Multiliners are the same type of marker as Pigma Microns, essentially.
I use both.

10-15 Min?Β  There's the problem.Β  I go right in with copics the moment i'm done inking.

I'll give my PH Martin's ink some dry time and see if that works.

Thanks for the info!

I'll admit its nice to have Peter Parker Back, but I'm going to miss the Superior Spider-Man. He was like Β Batman meets Spider-Man.
