Yeeah I haven't really heard much regarding The Hunger Games at expo and as soon as I saw the film the first thing I thought was "Cosplay" I recon you might get a lot of people going around wearing the jacket type things they had to be honest : P I hope it goes well for you though it looks awesomes : D I shall have to keep my eye out for you ^^ Are you cosplaying anyone else on the weekend?

I know! Me too - I thought: "these people dress so crazy lots of people are going to do this!" but alas, no... I can't even find anyone doing Peeta or Gale... just seven million Katnisses... which is fine... but... come on, guys... I really want to find a Seneca Crane at expo. IT WOULD MAKE MY LIFE. I know that someone is going as Haymitch, so, hurrah for that. :3
And I'm going as a lolita neko on Friday (but we're going to the Forbidden Planet Megastore for a couple of hours first...) and a steampunk faun until 2pm on Saturday. After that, it's Effie all the way!
And coolbeans, coolbeans! My roomie and I (and some other people at our hotel that I met on cosplay forums) are going for food at the Fox@Excel the Saturday evening before the night party. You are welcome to come with! The more the merrier!

I've had all my stuff booked since the start of February - I am so ready for this expo! I can't believe it's nearly heeeere. Aaaaah!
And I am good today! A wig for a cosplay for another con arrived today so I've been prancing about in that.... also I'm on my "two week pre-expo diet" so I can gorge myself silly on chocolate and pocky and noodles and drink whilst I'm there and not feel bad at all!

I bought a purple wig for my cosplay of nurse!Minene (9th) from Mirai Nikki/Future Diary... just have to figure out how to make the damned eyepatch! XD;;;
Argh it's annoying waiting for things to arrive - I have a pair of platform flipflops arriving some time this week (which I will butcher into hooves...) and the waiting is driving me mad!! I just want to maaaake them aaaallready. *armflails* >3<;;;
I've been working all weekend. D: I'm working all week too, Wednesday is my only day off this week. ;o; *frantically trying to earn money to spend at expo* My dad told me today that he expects no less than five boxes of pocky as a souvenir. >w>;;
