So....I can't afford to make buttons or Stickers for Derpycon. Which is a shame cause the entire reason I drew fluttershy in that pose was to put her on a button or sticker. Oh well, I figured out how to "paint" tree leavesfigured should probably be in quotations,Β but yeah. I'm proud of those. And the Grass. Specially the Grass. Might make this a print for Derpycon South.
Oh, and btw. GX very "nicely" pointed out some flaws in my style, so next time I make a pony image. you'll see the style shift a bit. Get less stale. Anyway.....enjoy this. Attend Derpycon South.Β Slendermane isn't in this picture.

I think it's superb. After seeing all the stages of how you got there (and telling you what you already knew) it's obvious that you can do anything and holy shit can you do it well.

It was this forest adventure that shattered Fluttershy's view of the world - through the helpless desperation and fear that she felt, lost in the dark woods, and witnessing the cruelties the animals endure and relish... some which she experienced herself.
From it all was the ultimate realization of just how small she is in the world, and how little she means to a chaotic, capricious and senseless nature that is ultimately indifferent to her and all life's suffering.Β

Custom brush tool. min size 7% blending 73, dilution 47, persistance 28.
Advanced Settings:
Smoothest Quality,
edge hardness 0,
min density 0,
max density prs 42%,
hard/soft 40.
Press: Check all the dens size and blend boxes.
then on a wacom tablet (or cintiq in my case) make sure to loosen up your arm and make three strokes

Here is something more helpful than just what I posted above. While I'm proud of figuring that out, I'm also very critical over the fact that its mostly good for bushes. and the trees look like they were done by Dr.Suess, but to cut myself some slack, that's not terrible here. If I was trying to do Dragon's Crown level artwork oh this would be awful.
