Written for by . Not sure how I feel about this, to be honest. I used some of the newer version in his design ('cuz it's Idris Elba. You do NOT snub Idris Elba) namely the scars and blind eye. His leg is raised because that's the lame one.

Born lame, the tiger was named Lungri for his condition. However, as he proved himself as one of the fiercest and most powerful animals in the jungle, during which he took the name "Shere Khan" or "King Tiger". He was named a guardian of the realm by King Aesop when he formed his kingdom and the tiger took this job to heart. However, his methods began to become more and more fanatical after he was injured by man, resulting in him being scarred and blind in one eye. Aesop reluctantly exiled Shere Khan and stripped him of his rank, later giving it to a plucky, young mongoose named Rikki Tikki. The tiger, however, was dangerously arrogant and still considered himself a protector against all intruders, which in his mind, includes all of man. More recently, he formed an alliance with Queen La, resulting in his leg being healed.

Shere Khan is a fierce and arrogant creature, viewing himself as being above all laws and rankings. He hates man in general with a burning passion, but the Man Cub named Mowgli, who repeatedly defied and humiliated him in particular. He's incredibly powerful and lethal, even with his injuries.
