Sometimes seeing the reality of your world without glasses or lenses can be rather beautiful, somehow refreshing.
Beautiful shot.

Michel Tournier [link] once wrote how disappointed he was of the world's appearance after he put his first glasses on his nose.
The world just looks as you perceive it.

"The world just looks as you perceive it."
- i think that's called insanity. never mind the fact that it's quite true.
everyone else is crying, and i feel like laughing, is there something wrong in me?
and i feel like crying, and everyone tells me that there's no need; should i make them cry? so that they could understand what i see and feel, so that they would know what to say. or at least what not to say.
and a few quotes in exchange - i couldn't find the one i was looking though. .
"Just because some of us can read and write and do a little math, that doesn't mean we deserve to conquer the Universe."
"A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved."
"We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful what we pretend to be."
- kurt vonnegut jr.
and so on. .
thank you and pleasant evening.

Why insanity?
Isn't just the only thing we can be sure about about?

"lapsi, joka hymyilee, silmissämme on suloinen, vaan jos nauraa vanhalla iällä, niin on vajaaälyinen"
-yup- joutilas
in a world where we have laws, rules and manners set by people. . there just have to be insanity. . because not everyone's 'right' and 'beautiful' fit in there, without contradicting someone else 's 'right' and 'beautiful' . . .
through others we scan to see how i'm supposed to feel today, what is my opinion so that i can still belong to the society, without being called strange or insane. .. .
and so on. .
it's just a bit early to get too deep into this.. .
so i escape, and wish you a good morning and great day.

it depends on what distorts your vision, and/or if it's done on purpose. otherwise, the results may be different..
To see beauty through pain would be something admirable.. I'd never choose needles.

. .. to see beauty through pain. . sure. . i've seen some quite wonderful pictures of Auschwitz. ..
excuse my cynical approach. . .
i watched the news on the other day and heard some of our minister with teeth to tell how well did the air strike to libya succeeded. .
-why we're attacking there? i have no idea. i heard there had been an earthquake in japan. . quite many dead, quite more homeless and so on. . . so... lets attack to libya. .
and i fail to see anything admirable in the stupidity of human. -although i have to admit that it's quite fascinating in a way-
no more news for me.
i wouldn't either. choose needles.. . i'm afraid even just to try contact lenses. . so i just take off my glasses and tell everyone that i see perfectly well. . this is how the world looks like. .
good night.
please overlook my sarcasm and cynicism. . . -although there's not too much left after that. .

to see the beauty through someone else's pain is actually easy. Especially when there is the shine of gold.
I meant the ability to see the beauty through our own and exclusive pain, like needles stuck in my eyes... I'd be proud of myself if I could, and believe then that I'd be evolving as a human being..
Fascinating and stupid.. I'm also allowing myself to be distracted by someone else's problems... What are they doing in there?, I asked myself too.
I quit watching about Japan, I only look for facts now, before they reach the TV. Because they are of my interest.
There's no stronger feeling than fear.
And don't worry about your sarcasm and cynicism, I'm aware of who you are. Things beyond our will, you know.

Or.. maybe it would be already enough when people would open their eyes. And would see not just look.. I guess.
