I was stroked by this picture. What a facial expression ! What a crown of thorns ! Not to mention her hair... We can feel the weigh of the crown with her, as well as we feel the warmness of her hair falling on her shoulders. I imagine she's suffering under the sun, begining to sweat, yet knowing the worst has just warmed up... I feel terrible for that young woman and in the same time, I wish to see her nailed to the cross, and exposed, to go through the pain, the punishment, and the glorious humiliation that awaits...

Or is she so impressed by the jealous women's wickedness that she's frozen, able to understand what they're doing to her, but unable to be anything but whitness of her own tragic display ?
I don't know why but I find the situation even more moving if I imagine that this lady is punished this way by a few old severe women. Like... Really old ! Maybye because It would increase the sentiment of both her innocence and her beauty... ?
