Well, obviously I'm a little trepidatious. Less so than you, because I've got bigger problems right now. Still, there's a bit of unease in any transfer of power. Still, hopefully having someone in office who didn't WANT the power, may do a better job of delegating, and doing a little bit at a time, rather than trying to take it all on herself. That's just my opinion, though. Either way, it'll be interesting to see the differences between the two.

I hope you're not insinuating that this whole anime club is my entire life or that I'm panicking. I'm simply saying that I'm not so sure that the people who are going to control anime club have a lot of motivation to actually take action. This entire school year those who were the heads this year (and are still for this year) sat on their asses aside from Sophie who had to keep pulling them back up and give them instructions. Now that Sophie's not going to be around to guide them and push them forward, there's only two things that can happen. They get really lazy and all of Sophie's hard work goes to shit, or they keep up and the anime club improves. I'm hoping for the latter more than the former. Liz might have to do everything herself though, because the few people in our club who are going to be in control either don't know exactly what they're doing or really just don't take it seriously and prefer to sing in the corner of the room all day. We have cliqs forming in our freaking club, it should be one big group, but we have cliqs. But things always change. I'm sure that Liz will do a great job, it's just a few other people I'm worried about.

No, I'm not implying that at all. I did realize that the newbies were kind of lazy the times I visited. There wasn't much anime watching going on, really. And I'm surprised that anime club has cliqs! That's insane! Well, actually, it makes a little bit of sense. Shonen vs Bishonen, and that sort of thing.

It's more like: theatre kids who act like they're better and sing in the corner, freshmen boys who just sit on the computers and play Super Smash Bros and endanger our club, freshmen girls who curl up in a corner and do weird random shit, people there just because they're asian, and the few who actually take shit serious.
