Are the majority of the Jpony suits made out of stretch fur? I'm working on a form fitted pony suit myself and have noticed I have to make many seams and darts for things to lie flat.

Yes most of Jponies are made of stretch furs. However some people tried to fit normal fur to the form, and I saw they succeeded with 2 or 3 darts around nostrils, which will hide as long as you use longer furs.Β

I made this, though some of my friends were kind enough to help cutting and sewing. I'm not planning to take commissions, because making those suits takes too much time, and the suits are sometimes way too fragile.

I must tell the truth: this fursuit looks so good that looking at it I feel the need to hug it.
I'm serious, it looks really soft and warm. This, for me, is an extra point for you!
I like to distinguish certain works between "cool" and "cute". For example, sophiecabra 's fursuits are "cool" because their look is pretty much similar to the show, but their appearance also seems quite stiffy. Yours isn't very "show accurate" but on the other hand the appearance is waaaay more appealing, making it "cute".Β I wouldn't be surprised if someone there may have asked to hug you. XD
In other words, I really like the style you adopted for this suit!
