Teen Wolf fanart C-C-COMBO BREAKER! Here’s big brother Gabriel holding a fledgling Castiel! ; u ;/ I know that’s not how it happens, but whatever.I have this silly headcanon that Gabriel is severely lonely and after watching over children and expectant mothers for centuries, he longs for one of his own. So God shuts him up by giving him Castiel to look after. Gabriel is thrilled to pieces and immediately flies around Heaven showing him off to his brothers and sisters.
In other news, I think I’m getting the hang of this. Still got a long ways to go. Color is hard. D:

It reminds me of a fanfic I read once
It goes into a made up history of how angels come to be. God created the archangels. Then he granted them the ability to create more angels as "soldiers". The process takes a few months but in the end their grace is split into making another angel, called a severance.
So some of the angels are like the 2nd generation and some are 3rd.
The sad thing the author added is that if any angel (even the archangels) goes into severance and creates another angel they never meet their child. Once they're "born" the angels in charge of taking care of the fledglings separate them immediately. Then everyone gets sort of forced and maybe even brainwashed into thinking that every other angels is their brother and god is their only father. No questions asked. So they never know who is their kid or who is their parent.
It can even be the head cannon as to the reason why Anna chose to be female.
In the story Castiel speculated who he was born from. Gabriel being all angsty about the memories. In one part he said he had a mental list of who was possibly his and that Castiel was in that list. And just so sad this picture fits perfectly

Where even to begin?! This is probably one of my favourite Gab-drawings EVER! First of all, you got him down perfectly, and I LOVE how his hair matches his wings - that golden colour really works so well on him, and I LOVE how it has become canon that gold is 'his' colour!
Castiel is adorable as fuck! I am impressed with how spot on you got him! I mean, he genuinely looks like a baby-Mischa, which isn't the easiest thing to pull off!
The colouring is simple, and so is the shading, and to be fair, I LOVE this! I adore this kind of cell-shading, and you did it so well, still making it all look golden and glorious!
