the walk - Title by GAZPACHO - THE WALK from their new record "Tick Tock".Taken today in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) at the airport with ~Dealerchen . A spontaneous but such an exciting trip

allerdings is in der mitte etwas zu scharf geworden
die handläufe sind anfangs schon verpixelt
etwas schade weil grade dort der mittelpunkt liegt
aber sonst sehr nice
die symetrie spricht für das bild

das ist wahr, das Verkleinern ist da - wie schon öfter - nicht sooo sonderlich gut gelungen. Hab das Ding aber selbst als A3 Print schonmal verschenkt, da wirkt es - ebenso wie in der vollen Auflösung - sehr gut. Das Problem der - ich sag mal - Überschärfung kommt von den falschen RAW-Settings..

Vom Fernbahnhof aus kommend in Richtung der Terminals. Muss man aus eben diesem Weg zwangsläufig dran vorbeilaufen

I love it. You must have just got off the plane and were heading to customs no? I remember when I was in Australia last month the only empty halls like that were right after getting off the plane and heading to customs or first thing in the morning/late at night.

Nope, it's near the railway station of the airport and I took it in the late evening hours thats why it so empty!

I love vanishing-point architecture shots, and this one is a new favorite! I really like the inclusion of the signs with the yellow arrows, and for only shooting at f4 this is a really sharp picture!
Good idea adding some blue tones, and there's just enough breakage of symmetry (more highlights on the left than the right) to distinguish this shot from many I've seen that are just "too perfect" symmetry-wise. The slight vignetting really accentuates the curve of the ceiling, so that was a good idea as well.
Overall, very, very nice shot. This is the kind of architecture photography I strive to be able to take one day

fantastic shot, great focus and composition, taking advantage of the symmetry... plus i love editing...
While I'm here I really do think that it is amazing bit of architecture to! I love the random yet thoughtfully positioning of the windows. I also adore the little clocks perfectly positioned symmetrically. I'll have to visit to Frankfurt some day.

pretty good atmosphere and shot...
however, personally, my eyes always look for human in a photo...I would advice you to include more visible and stronger human elements in the frame, which possibily creates a unique moment in time...
If I were you, I would try it in black and white as well...

I took this shot at the end of the they when no one was left there...it's not a famous part of the airport so there weren't many people left.
