These are three characters for a story I came up with... I actually have no idea what they are called yet, haha.Spent over 12 hours on this today. Started with rough pencil poses, and kept refining step by step until I had clean line drawings. Took a picture, because I don't have a scanner, and then added some values with photoshop. The big dude is a space pirate (robotic leg and all, I also plan to give him an alien parrot creature as a pet), the guy in the middle is a soldier (kind of like a navy seal, but more uber), and the girl is a biologist (exploring new territories and cataloguing all the new species etc).
Will be adding more details later on when I paint them. Like insignia etc. And definitely more biology stuff for the girl.

out standing work! great characterization. i love the shapes and the way the armor and clothing wraps around their bodies so convincingly keep it up.

Full of character, lovely clean and clear designs. Costumes and proportions are great. One thing that would have been nice would be to have at least one of the space pirates hands on show to get a sense for their proportions/design. I love your style of drawing, faces and hands are great!

You noticed! Haha I want to do a nice little one soon but this one is at least more recent than the last.. No worries, it's as minor as crit gets, I love these and hope to see you use them in something, they'd be great in a story/comic/game/animation etc!

Well, the plan is indeed to use them in a game. I got a really good critique from one of my instructors last night. Will be altering them a bit soon. But yes, if all goes to plan I will start the actual game development soon. I might make a flash game. I'll be learning it over July/August, so I might as well put the skills to use! I'll be doing concept art until then.
