Description

From a truly ANCIENT dream, I was probably 8 or so (so the year would've been 2007 - this drawing was made in 2019) when I had a bright and colorful dream about a land of toys and Legos all set on this flat blue plane with a grid texture. There was cheerful music as the camera panned around town and into this gym. Things were still fine and good, but as the camera approached the back of the gym, there was a wall of shadow past a tennis court. As the camera continued to move closer to the curtain of darkness, the music morphed into a low droning and the atmosphere became one of absolute dread.

I woke up after that. This was particularly bad dream, and as someone who rarely gets those, the memory has stuck with me since. The curtain of shadow was probably inspired by this Spongebob scene.
