According to a Tupi legend, there was a Serpent who owned the Night, under a River. One day, the Serpent's Daughter married a man from the surface, and so she needed the Night. She asked the Serpent for the Night. Men were sent to seek for the Night with the Serpent, and she gave them a Tucumã seed, sealed with wax, and she told the men not to open it, ever. They heard crickets and owls and frogs from inside and with curiosity, they open the seed, releasing the Night. The Serpent's Daughter got upset, because then she now would have to find a way to part the Day from the Night. So she created a bird, Cujubim, told to sing to the birth of Dawn. Then she created Inhambu, who was told to sing by the end of the evening, to call the Night. And she created more birds to enlighten the day, differing it from the Night.

i think it'd be cool to see some cleaner lines + shading, and perhaps more colors and/or a different composition, but the forms and aesthetics are really awesome as usual.
