I immediately loved this, it's like an amalgamation of ideas all on the same canvas. It's a recurring theme in some of the others I've looked at. I like it a lot. It made me think of those pictures you used to see of stairs that never ended. I kind of get that feeling when I look at the steps on the right of the picture. It's like if I tried to climb those steps I'd just end up right back where I started from. The objective would be to reach the observatory, but somehow never quite making it!

I've always liked observatories and thought they would even be better with gardens around them. The Greenwich Observatory I believe has some gardens around it.
I wrote a short story called "The Observatory Gardens" for Phase5 Publishing. I guess they will get around to posting it on their online fantasy/sci-fi site eventually. If not, then I'll post it here.
