Description This wise fella is the first in the row for my upcoming collage of 10 pieces, which will be the official poster for a hungarian SW-fan event in may. It's done in A4 size, on marker-paper, with markers, white pastel and white gel pen.
Background has been added, hope you like

Thank you very much But no, it's well, let's say 95 percent markers and a little touch of this and that But markers can be very close to watercolor in looks

Yoda is awsome, i'm trying to do stuff in marker can you tell me what brand you use, i have markers but those stupid off colour streaks drive me nuts, or is it the marker paper that stops that, just let me know okay??

Thanks Well, hmmm, let's see. I am using a mix of brands, Promarkers and Tria-s from Letraset and I have a couple from Copics, but not too much. I used marker paper with my Clone Wars pieces, it's a bit easier to use the markers with than normal paper but not significantly. I am finding the most difficult to work with with the Promarkers, they bleed easily, so you have to be pretty quick with them which needs a lot of practice, especially if you want little details. Tria is way better, it has the brush tip which helps a lot. I'd say try to to use markers which have brush, it gives a better maneuverability. What else. I am not sure which problem are you referring to with off color streaks? Is it with bleeding and colors getting mixed together or you have problem with getting bigger surfaces colored the same?

when you take a marker and go over the same surface and the colour gets darker, making streaks

Well, you won' be able to avoid that, nothing stops it. This Yoda for example has many streaks, you just have to turn those streaks on your side. It gives a lot of of texture, shading, with markers you have to build up your picture, and think before u color, so you control where those streaks go and not the other way around
