Well, my dear watchers and friends, this was my entry for the contest. fav.me/d78hlby
I thought it would take me less time to restore, because it seemed to me less difficult , than my previous art, and I was SO WRONG! True, it has taken me "only" a week to make it, which is three times faster, than my time, spent on "Eli Shane. The first victory" art. fav.me/d77yg7c , but it wasn't easy at all. Why? There are two main reasons:
1. Firstly, believe it or not, this is a combination of TWO screenshots instead of just one. Beeker, the water slug or the Aquabeek, is taken from one shot, and Eli Shane is taken from the other one, though there is less than a second period of time between the two screenshots. Still I had to use both of them and "be creative", if quoting one of the Slugisodes.
2. The second reason, why this scene was hard for me to restore, is because of Eli himself. He has got SO SOFT and SMOOTH facial features that a single wrong-angled or too pointy line could have ruined him entirely. This is why I was so scared to make any mistake, restoring his absolutely WONDERFUL smile and the entire expression of love and happiness on his handsome face.

This scene is taken from the episode, called "Dark Water. Deep Water.", and in my opinion, this is THE BEST SHOT IN THE ENTIRE EPISODE! It truly shows, how much Eli is bonded with ALL of his slugs (not just Burpy), whom others consider simply as "the ammo". And this is in fact the main idea of the series, as far as I can see, having watched two seasons out of three. So this moment just ASKED for beeing restored, and I think, it has turned out pretty well.
