When I was tasked to do a redo of this iconic cover in my style, I told him I would work off an old sketch I got posted on here somewhere. I wouldn’t even know how to approach duplicating the original that Ross Andru did ( which I think is museum quality comic art).
No…I would have to take a more frugal approach based on my limitations. And I always wanted them dukin it out on the Statue of Liberty .
Tough angle that I made fun and think it’s really cool if nothing like the original.
Had a lotta fun with this pic!
