Description Michael and I were playing .hack versus and talking about how ever since the creation of Kite’s avatar his character model has appeared in every era of .hack from then on. So I decided to draw each character.

Kite- EVERYWHERE.
Shugo- .hack//Legend of Twilight
Azure Kite- .hack//G.U.
Sakuya- .hack//Quantom and .hack//Link
Sora- .hack//Link, .hack//Beyond The World, .hack//Versus

Elk was better. That is all.

No, but really, one of my greatest disappointments with the game was that I had to play a Twin Blade. I wanted a wavemaster ;~;

Elk omg.... ;u;

I was okay with Twin Blade but I'm usually better with physical or gun wielding characters anyways.

Yeah, it was just kinda... disappointing for me? Like, according to the makers, one of the big drives in making the .hack games was letting you have some of the fun of an mmo without having to actually play online. But they stuck you with one class you had to be >.> One of the big benefits of mmos is choosing your class so... yeah xD

Well, one thing about protagonists in RPGs is you can mold them to your liking in battle. If it's fighting style like that I go for power and speed where some of my friends go for powerful magic etc?? BUT IDK.

Didn't seem that way in .hack... actually it's less common in JRPGs, like Cecil of FFIV will always be either a dark knight or (by endgame) a paladin. In Dragon Quest, the main character will always be a hero (frustratingly, less powerful at melee than a true melee class and less powerful at magic than a true mage class)

(HEY THERE'S A COMMENT I THOUGHT I ANSWERED WHOOPS)

Hm, seemed that way to me?? Or at least, I have the tendency to gravitate towards games where a character is kind of balanced so that way you can use them as either a physical or magic user..

(Example, in KH3DS, I have Sora using more magic where I take advantage of Riku's speed and do more physical attacks and combos)

BUT MAYBE THAT'S JUST HOW I SEE IT?? *shrugs* XD

Very nice. Series needs more love. Now there is the new Kite character in Guilty Dragon.

It really does. :C I had to import Versus and plan to do the same with Link this summer. I was hoping they would come to America but...

KITE IS EVERYWHERE.

Those are the only two games I haven't played. For the same reasons (not coming here).

He is, but I'm cool with it. Though at first I was weirded out by Sakuya.

Well, I got .hack Versus for $50 from ebay. It was a Korean package but the game is in Japanese. Thankfully, the PS3 is region free so it's all good!! c: It was new and came with a special case to hold the game/movie combo and a little booklet thing. PSP is region free too so yeah!

ME TOO. Though Sakuya never bothered me. And she's great to fight with in Versus.
