Here, we have Blaze the Goldador giving a thug a little high-octane justice in the form of one of her fireballs after he tried to attack her with brass knuckles and a baseball bat for trying to stop him from getting away with a stolen TV.

Crime doesn't pay, now, does it? He just learned the hard way not to commit crime in Howling Bay.

I wanted to keep on drawing these characters to get a feel for them before I start drawing page one. I also wanted to start practicing shading and highlighting, to get the hang of it, lest I continue using flat colors.

I have also invested in a basic mannequin to get down basic poses and proportions and started drawing basic figures first, which seemed to pay off here. I also need to stop being so critical of myself, otherwise I'd probably have more done by now.

I plan on doing the other characters soon.

For those of you out of the loop, Digidogs is the working title for my upcoming project, which is a Road Rovers spiritual successor in which six students of Howling Bay High School transform into anthropomorphic, canid superheroes, with the aid of a specially made sports watch, to fight crime in the city of Howling Bay and abroad. I plan on this to be a comic/graphic novel series chronicling their misadventures.
