Year 1998. There is no more inhospitable place in the world than Antarctica. for years it was thought that no civilization ever inhabited these wastelands. Recently the excavations of the scientific expedition called RX TECH led by Doctor Willard have brought to light the ruins of an ancient civilization. Renowned archaeologist Lara Croft is on the trail of a mysterious artifact called the "Infada Stone" hidden deep in the Indian jungle. After an "accidental" encounter with Dr Willard, Lara learns of the existence of three other Artifacts of the same material, scattered by Darwin's sailors around the world. Having accepted the assignment, Lara sets out in search of these extraordinary objects. After infiltrating Area 51 in the heart of the Nevada desert, taking on businesswoman Sophia Leigh on the rooftops of London, and paddling against the rapid currents of the Polynesian Rivers, Lara finally has the coveted objects in her hands. there's only one thing left to do... reach Dr. Willard in the inhospitable frozen wastes of Antarctica to finish the assignment...
