I drew this for an old Disney animation friend who had a house fire and lost a bunch of her original Disney art collection given to her from her friends (like me) during those days. I'm giving her the original inks but I wanted to do some digital color over it and this is what I came up with. I'll probably post the hires inks so that people can color it themselves. I think of MUSHU in this as their little poodle they would bring along on their shopping spree or whatever. This was a lot of fun to do.Related content

I'd never picture Ariel in Capri pants... until now. Did Disney ever allow, by way of a bonus, an animator to take an original animation cell home with them? I mean, unless they destroyed them immediately they'd have huge stacks of them somewhere... or maybe I don't know the animation process. Anyway I'm hoping your friend didn't lose anything historical and insanely valuable beyond that which, of course, has a personal value.

Okay, Jasmine and Mushu I recognize right off the bat (love how the latter turned out), but I can't exactly place a finger on the redhead... I mean, Ariel seems to be the only one that fits, but weren't Ariel's eyes teal (a little more greenish).
Plus, if that is Ariel, where are her scales?
