Description My sister is a high school teacher and is putting on a musical that she wrote for her school. It's about gossip and it has all these Disney characters in it (about 17 of them). She asked me to do the cover for her program. Not wanting to draw another huge group shot of all these characters, I remembered the famous Norman Rockwell "Saturday Evening Post" cover about gossip in a small town ([link] ). I did this last night and am still working some stuff out but this is the rough concept. I will ink it soon and post that. Lots of characters I've never drawn before- actually, most of them. See, sometimes laziness pays off.

Hi back. That's great that you were in it. I heard the whole story of how it went from my sis ( Mrs Avery), I wish I could have seen it. I read the script and it was good!

I'm a big fan of you and your brother, by the way It was learning about you guys and what you do (and Mrs. Avery showing our Bible class Lenny & Sid shows ) that really sparked my interest in art & animation I'm going to A&M to major in Visualization in the fall.

Yeah, I have. There was a tour of his work that went around and I will never forget it. Saw it in Chicago.

I only got to see one in Houston- The Problem We All Face. I didn't know I was going to come around a corner and come face to face with a painting by one of my favorite artists! It took my breath away and I kind of broke down crying. I spent 30 minutes looking at it and noticing things I'd never seen in reproductions before.
