This is the second illustration in my West End Women collection.. this is the fabulous Samantha Barks.. I decided to depict her on one of the famous red London buses to represent how shes going places and chose Westminster bridge not only to incorporate more emphasis on London but i think its an image held in regards with the role of Nancy.. Very happy with this outcome and think as the first sister piece to the Louise Dearman illustration they fit very well!! β with Samantha Barks.I have also heard from Samantha herself saying she loves it and currently has it as her phone wallpaper so I'm well chuffed. No greater compliment than that!! x

It's crazy seeing her so well known on the west end. I remember when she was in Manx operatics, me being her only fan at the time haha. So glad more people like her now~!

I am so glad that she will star in the Les Mis movie! I've seen her on the recording of the 25th Anniversary Les Mis concert and her On My Own was incredible.
