Description Kutchicetus is one of the early relatives of the whale. It lived in what is now the coastal boarder of Pakistan and India during the Early to Mid Eocene. It is part of the Remingtonocetid family and was closely related to Andrewsiphius, and was the smallest of it's kind. Like all its other early whale cousins, it had an articulated vertebrae to the hip bone plus the tail, and it had short, gracile limb bones which were useful for swimming. Also like it's other early whale ancestors. was an apex predator that dragged its prey in and gripping it with it's vice-like jaws until it drowns.
