Description A bit different in that it's a 'detail' image rather than a scene. I wanted to draw this for the little graffiti character on the lamppost and the Plymouth - cool car. For the perceptive of you out there, I stuck the apostrophe in Writers' Workshop in the wrong place, which is kind of ironic.

Edit: I've now done a coloured version. [link]

I like your drawings... I like the lines... but I think they need some color.

are you using photos as reference or what is your workflow like?

some of your drawings seem to capture the moment

I use photos I've taken whilst travelling as reference, never having the time to actually draw whilst I'm there. I like images which have foreground clutter, like lampposts in the way, as I believe it encourages that sense of 'being there'. As for colour, that's tricky. If I look at my pictures, the black and white ones are far more technically proficient than the colour ones (whether that's computer-coloured or watercolours) and I prefer the style too.

Workflow? How do you mean?

by workflow i meant the series of tasks you do to finish an artwork... and the order of them... but I guess that you kind of answered already... so..I just wanted to know if you use photos as reference.
