Description As far as I know, this image is the first ever of a pachyrhinosaurus in a full covering of fur. As scientists have recently learned, some members of the plant-eating dinosaur groups did indeed have furry bristles on them. This image just takes it to the extreme. To build this piece, I used images of several animals including a rhinoceros, a pachyrhinosaurus skull, a parrot, and most importantly, one of Yellowstone Park's images of a buffalo in winter. My image goes a bit beyond what is currently proven about the beast, but not that far. Someday, this may be THE most accurate representation of a pachyrhinosaurus. We'll see.

Hey...it works. I did a doodle and this is about what I came up with too. Well, except the nose horn is a bit shorter. Most pachy pics don't have nose horns, so I did one that was in between.

Hopera, scientists have gone back and forth about that nose horn vs nose bump for decades. Most currently favor the bump, but I don't. There are no living examples of nose-bumping critters. Head-butting, yes. Rhinoceros gouging, yes. Nose bumping, no. I'm sticking with the long nose horn for now. Other scientists will come around sooner or later.
