Dear Deviant,
Β
I have Favourited your deviation because I sincerely think it is worthy of such a title. If you are wondering why this message is so formal-sounding and impersonal in nature, it's because as a past non-DA user, I have been keeping all my favourite Deviations bookmarked in my browser for a couple of years, and I am finally uploading all those deviations unto my current DA profile! So while it is impractical for me to lay down a thoughtful comment for all these collected Deviations at this time, I want you to know that when I first came across your piece, it did (and still does) deserve a note of appreciation. I apologize for not being able to share individual comments at this time: your Deviation deserves it in my opinion!
Β
Thanks for reading,
DaniBeez

I shared this on my facebook, and I felt it would be nice to share my opinion on this piece, and how it makes me feel. This is a very powerful deviation in my mind, and I feel a lot of others would agree with me:
I feel like this goes very well with my generation in particular. We were born in an age where we not only used Paint on our Window's computer's, but we used actual paint on a canvas as well. And it wasn't for just the few short years in which you begin to learn your primary colours and shapes, but we used both sets of tools even now, up to this point. People born of the 90's are able to embrace both equally, because while traditional was "out the door" while digital started to trend (as some might say), we learned how to use the old ways of art, and appreciate them. I know a lot of people my age that still sketch traditionally, and will scan and finish the piece digitally. It's a lot easier than trying to start from scratch on a digital canvas. I know for me that rings true, I always mess up what I'm trying to do when it comes to my anatomy. It always turns out ten times better when I can go over it with my trusty pencils. I mean, even the girl with the digital tablet has a backpack full of traditional mediums, such as a ringed sketchbook. I think both traditional and digital have merit to them, and there are different techniques from both that could produce that same outcome of a piece, depending on the skill level of that person and the medium that they are using. Anyways, my point to this ramble is that this piece really speaks to me, and I hope speaks to a lot of you as well.

This kinda remembers me of me and my best friend, Β she does traditional and I do digital :3
Except the fact that she uses pencil and paper and that I don't have a tablet
(psst Dooma-wolfsvain look at this *w*)
