It was mating season, all the lionesses were happy to be able to go and find someone to have a cub with, so they may love and care for a baby. Sarabi smiled and nuzzled Sarafina and said her good byes to the bulk of the lionesses.
Zira watched from the den and growled. "This is not fair!" She hissed. "The only good huntress left is Sarabi, and we all know it takes more then just one good huntress, even if it is her, to catch enough prey!" she complained.
Scar rolled his eyes and turned walking deeper into the den. "If it's such a problem, why don't you join her for hunting until the others get back." He suggested.
"What?!" Zira yelled with a snarl, ever hair on her back standing up with anger. "For your sake you better be joking!"
Asani watched, giggling. He hoped that some of the new cubs that are born will be able to be friends with him.
