hey all just wanted to post a few pgs I did these as samples a few years back 2004 I think. The reason I'm posting is that if you have been reading green lantern currently (and you should its good) This is the story the gardians refer to as the "darkest night". naw in the story the gl core is fighting a combined force of demons,enemies and other foes. I'll post the pg with the dialogue then it will all make more sense.

well I tried to put in alot of lanterns mostly the ones I could remember from all the classic group shots.

well this was from the actual original tygers short story. This was part of some samples I did several years back way before the huge blackest night event. I just liked the story and wanted to do it my way.

Oh that's not what I meant, I meant that I don't agree with all this calling the part of the oath and everything "The darkest Night". For one Batman practically owns the right to anything in DC that has the word "dark" in it, and it's just blatantly pathetic to have to adhere to whinging and whining about using the word "black" because it might offend people.

oh yeah I hear ya in fact the gl oath has changed many many times to try to make it both PC and cool.At this point i think its just what the writer wants or Which Gl is saying the oath.

I think they've switched it back to Blackest in the main, as the last time I saw anyone say Darkest was during the Green Lantern vs. Alien comic.
I've not seen it from Rebirth to the present
