Description bic rollerball pen on an 80lb paper. Just wanted to see if i could at least make it look like there was a path there.

how much does the weight/type of paper change how your drawing comes out...

I think but not sure the heavier it is the more smooth (tooth) I believe it also has something to do with how much longer it will last in its life. Thanks on the comment. I've been doing a few up there and i think thats the first where there is actually a path.

i thought the heavier it was the more rough it is. like with watercolour paper. i guess it depends on how the paper is finished as well... the quality.

yeah there are so many different kinds, but water paper and pastel and pen and ink and cold press and hot press...i at least try to get acid free if nothing else....lol waterpaper is heavy in wieght, but i think 80 to 120lbs drawing paper is the pressure applied to the paper to make it that strenght? shit now i guess i'll have to google or go to a library to find out the differences. now you have me wondering (wich is always a good thing)

it doesnt really matter to me atm. im working in my sketchbook mostly. any other paper i might need is provided by the art department. it was more just out of curiosity...
