Very difficult, patience consuming shot. Wonderfully done! Must have been a very fast shutter speed - wing isn't even blurred much. Impressive!

I have been trying to freeze a hummingbird in flight for some time, hoping to get lucky. Finally gave up after I realized my 22 year old Nikon Coolpix, with a whopping 4 MP, wasn't up to the task. The subject flies off before it is captured due to shutter lag.

A 7100 would accept all my old AF Nikkor lenses. Eventually I'll get one, but by that time it'll be the 7200!

It's a beautiful camera. I looked into a 7000, due to budgetary constraints, hoping it would be less expensive, but there are none to be found, new that is.
