Description
So... this is based on a very old idea I had in a comic I made sometime ago: and in said comic one of Patch's favourite hobbies was enduro!I thought about it again recently and decided to draw this yesterday, I found a few pictures I could take ideas from, and off I went!
I'm rather proud of the colors especially, and it gave me a chance to draw a dirtbike again, which I hadn't done since I made that comic.

Okay, this was a very pleasant surprise. Totally was not expecting this to show up in my inbox. Very interesting what you've got going on here. I don't think I've ever seen you draw anything automotive related before. However, I'm not entirely convinced Patch would take this kind of extreme sport up considering he's only got one eye to see out of and that would greatly hamper his depth perception. [Then again, I've seen him do jousting/fighting in a full harness, so there that little thing.]

No, I've never posted anything automotive-related here on DA, it's not really what I usually draw (but I think you'd already realized that!) but I do have a little weakness for enduro.
I'm not really into sports that much (well, exept jousting!) but enduro is an exeption: I like the idea, and most importantly I like the look of it. The bikes, the gear, the locations, you get the idea. When it comes to Patch, yes it is a bit weird (what with having one eye and stuff), but it must be something in the family judging from TKKM! I suppose if you can joust with the thin visor jousting helmets have, while also not having an eye, then this extreme sport is a walk in the park!
(But in this case the prize must go to Richard from TKKM 2: jousting on a narrow bridge wearing a jousting harness with a thin visor while also wearing a mask that covers one of your eyes! I don't think anyone can beat that!)

Yeah, it's kind of a giveaway, but it's always nice to see a change up from the regular stuff you've been posting. And if it's something that you enjoy and/or something you're passionate about, maybe you could do another picture themed around the sport? Say, maybe some of the Sega crew are racing in an enduro perhaps?
Well I mean, that's definitely a possibility. Could just be that through constant training/practice he's been able to regain that sense of depth, or as you've said, it's genetic from his family. Whatever it is, Patch has made it work in his favor.
[Oh yeah, total props to Richard. It's already bad enough trying to see out of such a narrow visor slot the jousting helms have. But trying to do with whilst wearing a mask that blocks 50% of the already reduced vision is frigging mental! The amount of skill/trust to pull that off is almost out of this world. Richard is the real MVP of TKKM, even though he's quite dead...]

Oh trust me, I'm only just getting warmed up with ideas. In actual fact, I've been planning something myself that I've been wanting to ask you about but have hesitated, knowing that you're probably stacked up to the brim with multiple art pieces/comics already [TKKM, HB, T3K; not to mention the Black Knight side comic I've already suggested to you]. I just didn't want to load too much onto you at the moment. Still, can't wait to see what you've got in mind.

I'm always full of stuff to do so just ask, I may/may not have time/want to do it or I could take a few ideas from it and put them in another comic or something like that.
Also, once I finish putting up TKKM 3, I'll start uploading the pages of TKKM 4, and after that comic (with no Patch in it), I'll put up the Black Knight (just to keep things varied!)

Oh, okay cool. I was just really unsure how you'd take it with me asking/suggesting stuff when you've already got so much on your plate as it. I'll note you later once I catch a break from school and fill you in on the details.
Oh sweet. I'm so stoked and excited to see what happens next. Actually, now that I think about it, that's just become the norm with everything you've got currently in the works at the moment. Everything's so exciting and fresh, my eyes are just glued to my inbox for when the next page comes in.
