I was thinking of doing something like this as an effect in an animation film for school.
could you tell me what components did you use ?? and maybe point me to a tutorial for something like this.

i had something like that except it was pink and its used for killing germs in the bath? idk i used to use it when i was little
but it made that same effect

thing you're talking about is potassium permanganate
nope, that's not it. it's food dye which is usually used in bakery.
